I doubt it. If you listen to stones like a lot of do you know the whole catalog

 

I was referring to the fans in the audience, not those here on a music forum reading a Stones thread.

Compared to Satisfaction and Jumping Jack Flash it could be (you're right though, it is a little dreary).

There are warhorses and there are obscurities. I think most Stones fans and SH forum members would really appreciate more of the songs between the two poles.

He did on the Bridges tour (hard to believe it is over 20 years ago already!). I was at the last live performance in Amsterdam.

 

Now that would be a deep cut worth resurrecting.

I like "Memory Motel" but it's pretty low on my list of songs I'd want to hear at a stadium show.

 

A quick check reveals I caught it at the following:

7/01/98 - Arena, Amsterdam, NL (with Dave frickin' Matthews making it even worse!)
7/02/98 - Arena, Amsterdam, NL (with Dave frickin' Matthews making it even worse!)
7/05/98 - Arena, Amsterdam, NL (with Dave frickin' Matthews making it even worse!)
3/22/99 - Fleet Center, Boston
6/18/99 - Megaland, Landgraaf, NL

That was more than enough in any 18 month period!

 

I think "Slave" and "Time Waits For No One" are the only fan favorites left from the list of popular fan requests/wishes from over the years. They've been doing pretty well each tour with knocking out one song they've never done before. I would love "Dance Little Sister."

Pretty sure they have not. Slave would be tricky since it's really just a groove and not much really there. Would be the perfect song for a club gig tho.

I reserve my potty break for "Don't Stop" and "You Got Me Rockin'". If they don't play one of those this time around, me kidneys will burst.

 

Time Waits For No One, Slave and Gunface have never been performed. Slave has been rehearsed, but got crunched. Strange that they never played Gunface during the `98 MSG run where they played almost everything from Bridges (lucky me was there for all 3 shows).

Dance Little Sister was played in `75-`77.

 

I, for one, would be ecstatic if "Flight 505" would be performed. I won't hold my breath waiting.
