Yeah it’s on one of the discs in the singles boxset 71-06, it might be on Tokyo Dome as well.

Under My Thumb won the fan vote.

They also have played Let's Spend The Night Together and Sad Sad Sad again tonight.

It could be exciting if they dropped the cheesy arrangement. I always like the guitar-led 1981/82 version.

Hey Walrus (and also Black Elk per your post up above) ...I really appreciate the tips and tricks around purchasing tickets.
...everything I've read here makes lots of sense (including going to Santa Clara instead of San Jose - haha!)

I have a hunch I'm better off waiting till just before the show, and I'll educate myself on the purchasing process in the interim.

    Thanks again,
    Audiohound

PS: Can't wait to get the SATISFACTION of getting that ticket UNDER MY THUMB!
How cheesy, I know...guess I'm a bit giddy tonight in thinking that I might actually see the Stones in August.

Wish they would play the Altamont version of Under My Thumb.

One of the few things I truly liked about that tour (from someone who was born the month it started).

Not exactly a ghost town in the Superdome tonight. Check this video out from the 05:00 mark.

(Somebody was playing something pretty wrong on the guitar, but it worked out okay.)

I had a BLAST at the Stones concert in New Orleans last night. A couple of observations:

    1) Given all the reports of gobs of unsold tickets, I thought we might be able to move down many rows or get upgraded. No dice, people came early and the crowd was big. Very few empty seats all the way to the rafters. Here's a short video of the crowd *before* the concert started, with people still streaming in:

    2) We had a totally good time! The Stones were awesome, my wife couldn't believe that Mick could sing and move so well at 75, and especially coming off heart issues. And she admitted to a 'small crush' on Ronnie Wood, lol. A happy wife:

Anyone have photos of the merch booth this tour? Any posters or just t-shirts and stuff?

I don't have any photos, but as I recall there are city/show specific posters. I saw the NO one posted on the Stones twitter feed the other day.

Interesting how they have really moved away from anything not featuring the tongue logo in recent years, even down to album covers. Maybe they (correctly) assume people don't want to wear a T-shirt with a bunch of 75-year-olds on it, but the branding is getting a little one-note and unimaginative.

Some company/companies must have been called on to unload all the unsold tickets, because there was still plenty of inventory on TM until they took all the tickets offline!
