Oh, one more thing, TM is forcing you to log into your TM account to join the queue for many big sales. This means that you can only be active on a single device/browser unless you have multiple TM accounts! This limits your ability to monitor the inventory!

This tour has an added poignancy for me as my long time girlfriend(at the time) and her mom accompanied me to the steel wheels tour 30 years ago. She passed away last Saturday. There have been a lot of years between us but she is ingrained in my history and it hurts a lot more then I thought it would.

I wonder if Keith fell out of another tree if Johnny Depp could impersonate him, with no one being the wiser if the Jumbotron Camera didn't get too close.

The new TM software just sucks.

For one, they apparently let a multitude of people "lock" a set of tickets, then tell you you didn't complete the buy fast enough and they're gone. Which is some BS right there.

And yeah, I saw a couple Platinum bait-and-switch episodes.

I'm very much at the "They can die with their secrets" stage of old age.

I have recently found that there is no logical rhyme or reason for what triggers one about a close-to-home death, months after the fact.

Sometimes it's the Stones. Sometimes it's a stupid bar of soap. Be well.

Well, exactly. Very tired of some of TM's moves. The Stones catch a lot of hell, but fact #1 is: There's all this money on the table to be had, and fact #2 is: this is how you make it get there.

So you've got your half-dozen sales (I forgot to add "TM authorized resales" to my list above. Some shows' seating maps in 2018 converted from a sea of blue to a sea of red (resale) in a matter of minutes. No way THAT many people have dreams of flipping tickets.).

The two single crappiest things they do now, at point of sale, once you've "agreed" to abide all this BS, is

    1) let multiple people "grab" the same tickets and to the victor go the spoils, telling people who thought they were confirming the sale, that indeed there are no donuts for them today.

    2) not let buyers in search of a single break up larger blocks. (On day of show, in my case. I was like, "Really? This robs you of something? How is this my problem?")

That's the worst. When tickets are grabbed, they need to be removed from the system immediately, not with a delay until they're formally purchased.

While I'm trying to buy tickets that aren't actually available, I'm losing out on tickets that ARE. It's a terrible system!

First time I've been on Ticketmaster in forever to buy tickets in a presale. I'm in a "waiting room" behind 7000 other users to get Stones tickets for Atlanta. Oh well!

I hate this queuing system. Has anyone ever been placed remotely at the front of the queue?

I struggled with the idea of getting tickets for Buffalo. Now that I have 3,000 folks in front of me I think my decision has been made! F ticketmaster.

If you just wait you will get tickets. I had 7000+ to start and still grabbed two rear GA for that show

7000? I've never seen the queue say more than "2000+"!

That's what mine was at and then the line ran for 70% and still said 2000+! I did get in about 25 minutes in and scored some seats, so all's good I suppose.

I'm in now...but I don't see anything marked as "Lucky Dip" tickets...so I guess those aren't available to me?

Lucky Dip are only available directly through the Stones site. Not sure if they've posted them yet.

Yes, my wife and I have been straight in a few times, but not jointly, so one of us gets in quick, and the other gets the 2,000+ message. It's all random.

As has been pointed out several times, they are not available from TM but rs.com, and they have not been listed yet.
