In other news, it seems like a "new" 60s compilation will also be released. https://www.amazon.co.jp/Rolling-St...etailBullets_secondary_view_div_1647023116111
Are they waiting for Friday the 1st? They better not be yanking our chains. El Mocambo, Paris and Knebworth are the last three shows I would buy in a heartbeat.
Yeah that probably sounds more realistic with it saying Vol 1 as well if another is too follow afterwards.
From an interview with Keith on Australia's The Herald Sun: "The Stones kick off their 60th anniversary year with the release of a revamped version of their 1977 Live At The El Mocambo album in April." .https://www.heraldsun.com.au/entert...k=a0610298cad6c82bf83f8f5a81241c3c-1647057821
Looks like that set on Amazon is volume 1 of a reissue of their 7"s, either, as noted above, the first 9 or the first 18 (my *guess* would be 18). Wonder how they'll handle the packaging... I'm not super familiar with Stones picture sleeves, but it wouldn't totally shock me if they take the unsatisfying (IMO) approach Apple did with their Beatles 7" box, with the mish-mash of international sleeves.
Interesting that you cannot read Keith's Australian interview article with the information without paying for it.
Also, April seems a bit soon for the release since there has been no official announcement or enough lead time to hype it.

Great news! But “revamped” though? Hopefully that doesn’t mean Mick’s in the studio rerecording vocals.
Who is going to put in the time to record all those overdubs? I heard that the El' Mocambo performances was loaded with clams.
I’m very excited about this release. I noticed that on the vinyl covers there is no sign of Bill Wyman. I hope he’s not being airbrushed out of the visuals from this release. I found the way he was removed from the “Rarities” cover quite distasteful.
