Regarding the photo - no way is that Mick's main library. Hell, his art books could probably fill a wall. Also, I see that he's still using the same hair colorist as Jeff Beck.

Love the Stones, and Mick is one of the absolute best harmonica players, along with Steven tyler. I always wished Lennon had done more harmonica playing with the Beatles.

I see comments like the above, every time The Stones puts out new music. People must have big holes in their memory or maybe they are just happy to hear new sounds. The music in the clip sounds very similar to Doom & Gloom or Rough Justice. Nothing new under the sun - not that it is a bad thing, though, as I love the later Stones records, but let’s not get carried away here: It rocks like it should, but it’s not ‘a long time’ since they did it... just check your records.

It's hard for me to imagine a Stones song rocking much harder than "Rough Justice." Whether you like the song (or any song) or not, they literally rocked very hard the last time they made a record. It just happenens to be far too many years since they have.

The heat they'd have taken... both critically and from fans like this forum. Folks love to have a reason to bash. A new album of (their) old compositions would invite some terrible bashing, it his would, even if it sounded pretty good.

True Stones lovers know that the last great single they made was Doom And Gloom. :pleased:

No unless they are mostly Chuck Berry styled numbers the Stones can write in their sleep.

I'm in the minority, but I consider "Love Is Strong" a great single. It's got that patented Stonesy vibe from start to finish.

"Start Me Up" has been ruined by overexposure on witless classic rock stations.

Love is Strong is a GREAT song. Superb. Dark, dingy, driving, lower octave song. Great guitar, beat and, yep, that harmonica!

One of The Stones very best songs/singles of any era.

I'm hoping this new Stones album includes Keith. So far I've only seen videos of Jagger working out songs and so far he is the only one discussing writing new songs. Man, I hope this doesn't end up being a Mick Jagger solo album backed by the Stones.
