I'd like to hear how the vinyl sounds. I rather like the Virgin cd, much better than the orig CBS I had. No domestic vinyl that I heard floated my boat, so I got rid of all of them years ago. Held onto the MFSL bloated bass and all. I'd like a pressing that is neutral yet very punchy, because you know that's what's really on the tapes warts and all...

Sticky Fingers is my favourite album (probably by anyone) i await to see how it's been handled. Surely the record companies should know by now to make brickwalling a thing of the past

Just announced that Live At The Marquee is coming.
This should stop all the complainers who just had to moan before the word got out!

Looking forward to this DE despite the previous ones care in mastering.

If you want to hear what is on the tapes, get the Japanese Platinum SHM-SACD - it is a flat transfer.
This set will use the 2009 mastering - the same that is already commercially available. Don't expect a non brickwalled sound on the main album. The alternate Wild Horses that is out there is probably how the bonus material will sound.

  7. ---ok, I will bite :). This has been color corrected from the non-official versions out there.
There were two, one with time code. I wonder if they reconstructed songs from the various takes.

    Cheers

Makes the 2 track DVD with the Super Deluxe set redundant!

I think we already knew it was a teaser, just like the previous two album sets.

Still have to get the super deluxe just to get the Leeds disc - it had better be in stereo cos I have two versions of the boot already.

So, we are getting Sticky Fingers appended with a few alternates, and two and a half concerts? Plus a film of one of them?

    Well, I'm excited!

That looks fantastic - I'm much more excited now as I already own this and didn't think there would be much of an improvement. I was wrong!

I've posted that Dead Flowers clip about (5) times in the past year on various Stones threads- as its one of my all time favorites. Interesting that they pick that song as the promo trailer. We had some evidence during the Stones ABA thread that there was some monitoring going on from the outside. So if your reading, you have good taste in your song selection!

It also got voted a lot when the Stones did the vote-in song for the 2012 shows. It was picked for New Jersey (which was awesome cause I voted for it!)

You can really see how sh*tty Keith looks in that clip... wow, what a mess.

I hope so. Sounds pretty good to me!

I was going to comment that Keith looks completely different in the Marquee video from how he looked just over a year before, in Gimme Shelter.

Just the BR for me - this isn't something I would listen to on it's own.

I'm impressed by those, yes... this should be great, I've enjoyed Bob Clearmountain's mixes of the Vault/Archives releases so far. The other Glyn Johns-engineered and Clearmountain-mixed show of the series, Leeds '82, is my favourite. I predict an SD Blu-ray purchase in my future!

Still psyched for the Roundhouse and Leeds '71 tracks on the Sticky Fingers Super Deluxe.
