So what really happened with the "lost guitar" from the Los Angeles show? I watched it on YouTube, and I've decided that it was a prank on Keith, to stall and give Mick time to make the train platform announcement and surprise Keith with it. Thoughts?
My daughter won a pair tickets to the Minneapolis show back in 2020. They station emailed her tickets yesterday. Lower level seats that retail for $396 + fees on Ticketmaster. Much better seats than she was expecting.
I was initially going to vote for Monkey Man, but then that song is just so typically “Charlie” to me that I don’t want to hear it by anyone else Opted for Neighbours instead
Tomorrow night MPLS….hoping for Monkey Man A pair of nosebleed seats in US Bank stadium, which I’ve never ventured in before, that I bought over a year and half ago. I’m psyched but apprehensive on the sound. My first time was ‘72. The weird thing is going to be seeing them virtually straight this time. That aspect seems unimaginable vs all my other Stones shows.
I voted "Neighbours" because I thought it was more of a rarity... and it is. Though by less than I thought. "MM" got played a ton 1994-95 - and had never been played until then. 49 times from 2002-date. "Neighbours" got played a ton in 1981-82 and 15 times 2002-03, with just one more performance since. They did it once in 2018. I've heard it once: NYC 2002. I've heard "MM" probably dozens of times! Anyway, I would've thought "Neighbours" got played like 3 times since 1982. 16 times isn't a lot, but it's more than I anticipated!
It's funny how the vote doesn't synch with personal favorites -- for me it's novelty. Hence, I would vote for "Neighbours" as I only witnessed it once in 1981. I was lucky to get MM in 2019. Edited to add: just realized I've only seen Cold once, also 1981.
I voted for "She's So Cold" only because it seems appropriate for a late October show in Minnesota. I'm not actually going to the show, so I guess it doesn't really matter to me.
