Maybe Dan got kidnapped by the aliens, too. "Who are the Allen's and why are they out of spice?"

If we don't get a cameo by Martin Mull as Leon, I riot. :)

If I were them I'd just pretend the last season or two never happened. Roseanne and Dan are married like always. I don't think anyone would object.

I have my doubts this will happen at all... I can't imagine Roseanne has become any easier to deal with over the past 20 years.

I actually have enjoyed the last few seasons, though I haven't revisited them since they were broadcast. I'll likely watch this, though of all of the revivals lately this is the one that needs to happen least.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if this project explodes before take off like Roseanne Barr's last few projects. There was even a sitcom pilot a few years ago for NBC that costarred John Goodman that didn't go anywhere.

I think I'll pass on a reunion and just be happy with my memories of a show that had some absolutely brilliant episodes, writing and casting.

    Isn't Roseanne almost blind now?

I don't like to make predictions, but I think this will not work out well.
"Roseanne" was tied to the times it flourished in. I realize most successful comedies do too, but any reboot for this will not do the show any justice.
I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it.

Hell, the last two seasons of the show didn't do the show justice! :)

I loved the set decoration they did for the show (well, the first three or so seasons, anyway). They really captured that lower-class Midwestern aesthetic. The set re-decoration they did after the lottery win really looked out of place. Any family in real life would have just moved to a bigger house.

I didn't find that to be funny at all, even though I like the both of them. Did not even bother to watch the whole thing.

Yeah, I don't know that I'll watch the whole run (maybe), but I'll at least tune in to see how they work around Dan being alive.

They had better retcon-out the lottery win.

    This.

I also want to see how they handle Glenn Quinn's death. Hopefully they'll just explain Mark as having died years ago.

I thought he was really great on the show- evolving from basically a one-dimensional "bad boy" stereotype character to an actual character. It's a sham he died so young.

Listen for his Irish accede to slip through in his early appearances. :)

It blew my mind when I was a kid to hear him speaking out-of-character. He really was a great actor; lots of potential. Damn shame.
