U2 Boy album on white vinyl
From 'I Will Follow' to 'Shadows and Tall Trees', our first album arrived forty years ago this month. To mark the anniversary, check out the limited edition white vinyl release of Boy for Record Store Day UK on #BlackFriday, November 27.

Beastie Boys Some Old BS is the only thing I'm interested in. This list seems pretty short, do we think more items will be added as the date gets closer or are we just getting less releases this year due to everything else going on?

My guess is just limiting it due to the drops in the three months leading up to it. Disappointing list personally but still some things I will definitely pick up.

Masters of Reality’s Sunrise on the Sufferbus! mmmhmm, wonder if it’s gonna sound better than the boot I already own.
Is Real Gone any good as a label? Don’t think I have any of their releases.

Very lackluster, at least as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure it'll be more exciting for some (which is good). I see a handful of titles that I'm interested in, (Bangles, Bill Evans, and the Hootie 7"), and a couple more that I'll check out in the store, but I'm unimpressed this go round, even the titles I do want wouldn't be heartbreaking if I missed them...maybe there'll be a couple of surprises coming up.

I’m happy that almost everything I’m interested in is an RSD First. The one that will probably get me out the door is the Sharon Jones release. For the regional focus, I’d buy the Anthrax if it was in front of me. But I won’t go looking for it. And if that Gilmour is anything like the Floyd-related stuff this last time, on of my locals will be swimming in them.

Also, I can barely keep up with what I’ve bought this year, so I’m happy enough that there isn’t much.

Yeah, same here. There's some stuff that if I see it in the store, I may pick it up, but nothing to get up early and wait in line for. I got too much as it is from the previous RSDs this year and double that coming up for the October RSD.

The Herbie Hancock Trio and Sonny Rollins in Holland albums have piqued my curiosity, but even then they’re not “must haves” for me.

I'd add the George Coleman to that list.

I’ll take Uncle Tupelo Live at Lounge Ax and John Prine Atlantic box....IF they make it over here to New Zealand. Even as RSD “First” releases we’ll be lucky to see these here upon later general release. I’d love to support my local record store but suspect that I’ll have to buy online to get these titles.
It’s a better list than I was expecting given lacquer plant problems and general 2020 bulls#*t.

Any idea what a “collector’s edition” is - given how many re-releases there have been of late ?

Put me on the lackluster list regarding RSD Black Friday. Just talking to my best friend who I go with here in South Florida on RSD day and we both agreed that unlike the October RSD, we will be sleeping in late on Black Friday. The only exception is if we find out that one of our stores is getting more than one copy of Let It Bleed which is unlikely given the very limited release.
