Yeah, you’re probably right. Just doesn’t seem like it’s a slam dunk that it would be worth a lot more given the kinda lame packaging. Record looked pretty cool, but maybe since there’s only 900 and it’s the Stones it might be worth the $100 investment.

I'm picking up the Stones but probably just to sell. I think someone on this forum said he/she had the McCartney 333 and would trade for it. I'd definitely do that trade if I could find that member and they were still up for it. Otherwise I might just sell it.

I'd be interested to hear if it's a new mix or an audiophile pressing, but I bet it's the current digital remaster pressed on the wax. No way it's worth $100.

Well good luck. You have an in on getting one? Only about 9% of the rsd stores have a chance to possibly get 1.

My store got 2 and I'm second in line. So I can get one for sure.

Good for you! Although I've never bought a record intending to flip it.

    Neither have I.
I wouldn't call it a flip if someone is offering a trade for it. He got the McCartney I want and was willing to trade for it. Nothing to do with flipping.

I said sell not flip. I'm picking it up because a trade was offered for the McCartney I missed out on. But since I don't see that going thru I'll probably just have to end up selling it. I know a handful of people who are friends that want it. I can try for the trade or sell it to one of them if need be. Neither of those options really fall under "I've bought this with intention to flip"

Looking like maybe the Chris Cornell 7" will not be released (?). Not seeing anyone listing it or unboxing it at indie stores

Whoa. I still gotta make it through today, cooking Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow and then maybe get in line around 8-9 on Friday morning. :waiting:

A lot of stores are drawing for appointments online or in person. My main store opens it up to everyone online at 1, nobody in store.

Typically how long after RSD do the RSD First titles see a wide release? Curious specifically about the Lou Reed live set.

I believe 6-9 months. I'm thinking the same thing as you I really want it but can't decide if I can wait. This one is colored so that will be the difference

Thanks. I actually would prefer the cheaper black variant. I can wait 6 months!

Beware that some RSD First titles have never been repressed. I don't know if demand for this record will be high enough to justify a second release later.

Aren’t a few things not seeing release now? I haven’t seen Chris Cornell and maybe the Linkin Park getting released
