According to an email I got today from rush.com, rush will be touring Europe & North America for their 30th anniversary tour!
Earlier this year I heard an interview with Geddy Lee where he said they would probably be going into the studio after the first of the year to record a new album, but maybe that changed. I've seen them 5 times, I could always make it 6. I'd love to see them dig deeper into their catalog create a set list with some of the more obscure classics.
Chances are they're probably not coming to Hawaii, but I'll do whatever I can to see them for the third time. There are a couple of songs that I would like to hear on this tour; The Camera Eye, Between the wheels, The Fountain of Lamneth, Hemispheres, Cut to the chase, & Xanadu just to name a few.
If anyone has a yearning for Rush and is in the New England area, I'm the bass player and keyboardist (not the singer thankfully lol) in a Rush tribute band. We have a few upcoming shows next month, one in Worcester, MA, and one in Attleboro, MA.
