SACD Derek and the Dominoes -Layla

    I did the search and did not come up with much about people's opinion regarding this cd.
    To me, it sounds fantastic. However, "Why does love got to be so sad?", the guitars seem to be a little too low compared to the vocals.
    My other question is: Do they use the original mixes on the stereo layer or do they use the mixes they used on the box set a few years back?

    We did discuss this when it was released--you're right, it sounds great! The original mix was used for the stereo layer.

    And something that bodes well for SACD and more Clapton releases. This was the best selling SACD of the recent crop that was delivered including the Elton's.

    I think that the surround mix is WAY too conservative!
