I remember that day we all got together. Was fun, tiring for Warren but he enjoyed being around his audio buddies..

I met Warren a few shows back, when he needed help. We loaded out the room from the show and took the stuff to https://theaudiohome.com and took the stuff in. He got upset because he directed us to put some heavy speakers "right there" and then realized he had told us to put them next to a box of Beatles reel-to-reel . I hope he is at peace now, he was very sick.

Warren was the reason I found this place.

He had a true sense of mischief and, when he was well, was the greatest audio bon vivant I have ever known. He knew the true joy of this hobby and how to make inert things like audio gear sing like living beings.

The world is diminished by the loss of his light, I loved that guy.

Warren really enjoyed doing the tweaking and hearing the subtle differences.

And that event you mentioned was really awesome. 25th anniversary celebration of the Los Angeles/Orange County Audio Society.

I brought my son over the next day and Warren had opened up the home and Vincent was nice enough to give a young guy a lesson, right there, on the spot. Warren was enjoying it, as he did all musical events where people could enjoy music in any way.

I also know how pleased he was when his good friend Steve Hoffman was presented with and honored with a lifetime membership to the LAOCAS by its President Bob Levi.

I remember that! He was ranting at himself for an hour after you left, and the next day, too!

Fortunately when he tested the tapes they were perfect. I never say him leave them out again!

He was so appreciative of your help, as well as the others who helped both before and after. That show was his last, but it crested a lasting memory. The room sounded SO good, and Warren was extremely proud.

I spoke with Warren’s wife this morning and relayed to her the content of a number of posts here. She seemed to find the warm sentiments of those here very comforting. Hopefully she will make her way over here sometime, as well as read the later ones that were so great and truly captured Warren’s essence.

Weird, I just reminisced earlier today that about a year ago I was over at Warren's house to help him re-arranging his music rooms. I did some heavy lifting but came away with getting to know a kind man with enormous hi-fi knowledge at the end of the day. Rip, Warren, hope you're keep enjoying those mighty AN speakers up there with your reel-to-reel player.

I’ve been working all day and am just seeing this now. Although I never met Warren, I felt like I knew him because of his writings here. I am getting ready to retire and was going to head to So Cal to visit his shop once retired and COVID had settled down a bit more. Looks like that visit will not take place. Rest In Peace.

Just seeing this for the first time........ I purchased a couple of cartridges from Warren, and enjoyed our exchanges. I really enjoyed his candidness, honesty and admired him being someone you could rely on giving it to you "straight."

In our last exchange a few months back, he asked that I visit him in my next visit to So Cal, and it was something I was looking forward to doing. It saddens me that I won't get that chance.

Very sorry to hear this. RIP Warren. You'll be missed.

So sorry to hear this news.

I got my Audio Note IQ3 cart from Warren last year and conversed with him a little via PM a bit after. His knowledge was super helpful and I'm so grateful he shared so much of it with me.

    Sincerest condolences to his family.

    RIP, Warren.
