    Absolutely so. This is their cinema screen tech that they've been working on for a few years now, which is designed to replace movie projectors (and home screens).

    It's an OLED killer in pure technological and display characteristics terms. I'm not sure that it's ready for prime time yet, but I do hope they can bring it to market soon. I think yields are still an issue (and therefore price) and they do need to further reduce the tiling seam lines (at least for home use). Also, the fact that such a large screen isn't 8k means that they still have a way to go to increase pixel LED densities.

    I've been keeping an eye on this microLED tech for some time and am excited that it may enter the consumer space in the near future.
