Would love to see a bill for Woodstock 50th including Santana and Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman of The Byrds. Both acts can still deliver the goods.

Couldn't think of anything worse a hundred thousand rich 'hippies' watching decrepit old rock stars going through the motions all beamed and streamed live around the world sponsored by Pepsi, McDonalds and Budd Lite! Could you actually get farther away from the feeling, ethos and energy of the first Woodstock than this.

Well if it’s like 94 then it will be cool, if it’s like 99 then I will be worried about dying from heatstroke until day 3

That’s pretty cool. Hope he has the reunion band with him.

As far as Woodstock 50, look, the OG Woodstock was lightning in a bottle, so you can’t truly recreate it. As long as it’s like 94, just a really cool festival, we’re good.

Fear not ! Still enough time on the clock for them to do exactly that.

Supplemental : In case of rain, do they make M & S tires for mobility scooters ?

99 was on a former Mlitary base with no shade, vandalized water fountains and $5 bottled water at the concession stands

    94 in Saugerties was great

At the end of the day I predict that we will see multiple shows in multiple sites including one in Europe.

1 semi intimate event in Bethel, 1 larger event in Saugerties or similar and atleast 1 in Hyde Park, Knebworth etc AND/OR 1 in Poland.

Most folks in the US are unaware that since 1995 there has been a festival in Poland titled “Woodstock Festival Poland.” “The average attendance for the past four years is 625,000 people. Since the 11th edition of the festival, the promoters have dubbed the event to be "the biggest open-air festival in Europe".

Went to Eurowoodstock '94 in Budapest which was a riot. Loads of friendly locals, plenty of beer, great camping, cheap bootleg t-shirts, good vibe.

I don't think it is a good idea.Sometimes too much time has passed especially in music.
