Lol What are you talking about? The ratings have been fairly steady all season and are still higher than they were in seasons 39 and 40.

I remember caring about TV ratings when I was eleven in the TV guide. I can't imagine any reason to care in the last forty years. Don't watch would be my advice. Good luck.

Please cite an actual rating that proves that.

Personally, I thought there were several beer-snorting-out-of-nostril funny moments last night. Very impressed with Jessica Chastain, didn’t know she could handle comedy so well. And, the cast is very impressive, with Kate McKinnon continuing to impress, especially as Robert Mueller!!!

I love Jessica Chastain as an actor, one of my faves, and as you say, she was terrific on SNL.

    Just announced:

2/3: Natalie Portman / Dua Lipa

They generally avoid doing four shows in a row, but they will be off for the rest of February during the Olympics before returning March 3.

Good energy on the Will Farrell show tonight. Everyone seemed committed. The new woman cast member (name?) was strong in WU teenage movie reviewer bit.

    Heidi Gardner. She's really great.

I can't believe Luke Null finally got a laugh.

Overall, I wasn't honestly super in love with this episode. Chris Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson were fantastic, though. Best music act of the season, without contest

Edit: The rock 'n' roll sketch was really good, though.

Me neither. The only bit that worked for me, over and above anything else, was the opening Dubbya skit.

Ep was OK, nothing special. Someone must be a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fan as they referenced some lines from the show (again).

I didn't realize Chris Stapleton is pretty much Greg Allman.

Does anyone over 30 watch this show anymore? It seems more skewed to a younger
audience now even more than it was in the '70s and '80s.

Which was really good until Leslie Jones blew her entrance yet again. I don’t get it.

Last night's show featured skits involving the President from 18 years ago, a recurring character from 19 years ago, a parody of 1950s rock music, a parody of "Real Housewives", a sketch about an elderly couple, and a musical act whose target demographic is fans of '70s southern rock.

If anything, I'd say that the show was skewed more towards the over-50 crowd than the under-30 crowd.

It definitely doesn't skew to my crowd. None of those skits sound promising for providing potential laughs.

I'm glad I caught the golden age of rock & roll infomercial spoof, and it was sort of timely too. I missed everything else so don't know.

I'm nearly 50 and laughed many, many times. So...yeah. People like different things, maybe?

I'd say their demographic now is less age -related than politics-related.

Yes, the fighter pilot sketch was extremely, extremely political. It really was. Truly. Yep.
