Yep not many sitcom/comedies can be watched over and over, I would put 30 Rock, The Office and Parks And Rec on that short list.

Oh man, „30 Rock“ was one of the series which played a big part during my childhood! Another show I loved was „‘Til Death“ with Brad Garrett:cool:

I have the 30 Rock box set here, still waiting to be watched :D season 1 was fantastic, but I got busy with other stuff and kinds didn't continue watching.

Seinfeld is just brilliant. It really is. The dialogue is incredible, as is the sheer absurdity that comes out of totally mundane situations. Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm is equally fantastic, in my book.

lol George saying- I like Christian rock. It's very positive. It's not like those real musicians who think they're so cool and hip :unhunh:

Elaine: Have you ever been to the ballet?
Jerry: No, but I've seen people on tiptoes

The wig master episode was hilarious too. They dress Kramer in pimp attire by the end of the episode.

Kramer: "Can I sleep with you?"
    Jerry: "Huh?"
Kramer: "Well you got that big comfortable bed and that nice warm quilt."
Jerry: "Kramer , there's no way you're sleeping with me."
    Kramer: "Why?"
    Jerry: "Why?"
    Kramer: "Yeah!"
Jerry: "Do I really have to explain why?"
Kramer: "Well I......( Elaine pops in at that moment)
    Elaine: "Hi!"
    Kramer: "Hi...........What's that?"
Elaine: "Squire's walking stick. I had to write about it for the catalogue."
    Kramer: "Wow."
    Elaine: "You want it?"
    Kramer: "Yeaaahmm...."
Elaine: "You can have it, I don't need it anymore."
    Kramer: "Ooh Mama...( walks away)

You can see what that looks like in the pilot episode which did not have the Elaine character and I think there's an early ep that doesn't have Kramer. Jerry and George are the only two characters in every episode.

Season 5 on (and maybe parts of Season 4) are where everything gelled for me with Seinfeld. Lightning in a bottle.

I appreciated all the clever and hilarious sexual references/situations that never resorted to the usual juvenile snickering of most sit-coms. who else could get away with shows dealing with:
Wagering who can abstain from sex the longest.
Getting caught doing, you know , by your mother who ends up in the hospital because of it.
Cleaning out every store in Manhattan because your favorite mode of birth control has been discontinued and consequently, judging whether or not a prospective sexual partner is sponge worthy: " You gonna do something about those sideburns?"
George becoming smarter due to abstaining from sex - "Of course! Absolute zero."
Jerry losing his chance to de-flower a virgin to John Kennedy Jr.
An old woman with a neck goiter the size of a football reminiscing about a love affair with Gandhi - "He rubbed his bald head all over my body".

In the immortal words of Kenny Banya - "That's gold Jerry, GOLD!"
