The hired criers wailing away at a funeral while Elaine and Jerry chit chat over minor things that irritate them. Another small snippet of a scene that got big laughs out of me. I wish I would've done that at all the Texas funerals I had to attend in my youth.
I love the Bubble Boy, George does everything wrong: he leaves the message, he drives crazy, he gets into a fight with the Bubble boy
Here is the actual card which inspired that scene (it's from the "Jeopardy!" board game from the '70s):
Just caught THE PEZ DISPENSER on the teevee. The one where George is dating the concert pianist. In the dressing room scene there are all sorts of mini posters tacked to the walls, to give it a little flavor, I guess. There's a promo poster for Robin Williamson & His Merry Band album "a Glint at the Kindling" (1979), a pic of Eric Dolphy, and others I cannot ID. Anyone know? Odd musical choices!
One of my favorite George lines/scenes is the opening when he's trying to haggle for the fruit. "You're telling me there's no room to move on pasta? Starches in general are such a scam!" "Yeah, especially Ziti, with that big hole!"
Love the show, love Seinfeld, but rarely laugh at his stand-up comedy at the end of the show... But ya, it's on reruns every day, and we watch it a lot.
That's very funny but I can't place it. What episode, do you know? (At this point, loving this show forever, I thought I knew each word of every episode.)
My favorite part of that episode is the discussion before they all go in and talk to the pianist after the recital. "We're in the middle of something here!" "Yes, but I'm distracted now." "What are you, a baby?!?!" hahahahahahaah
