I'm burned out on plot twists in general, but that one actually surprised me. I love this show! Tuturro stole the last episode. "You smug motherf**ker"
Christopher Walken has one of the greatest, most distinctive speaking voices ever. It is known. But the guy really acts with his eyes. His reactions to Tuturro in that retirement scene were outstanding.
I'm all caught up. I really have no idea what's going on. Lumon could just be a company trying to create the optimal employee and the whole thing is an experiment / proof of concept as they work through the whole severance process to refine it and ultimately sell it to every corporation on Earth.
this show is very, very good and i'm really surprised more people aren't talking about it. i never thought i'd see adam scott nail dramatic acting like he has in this show. what a stellar cast overall.
without spoiling anything, i kinda thought Helly would be the reveal at the end of last week's episode.
They had a brief parking lot interaction after work in one of the early episodes so I knew it couldn't be her, but that moment is easily forgotten.
He must've fallen out of his chair when he got the script for this. I'm sure there are others who could be this character, but none could do it better then CW, IMO.
To be honest, I didn't want to start watching a slow burn series on Apple+. The last two series were so slow and boring that I just lost interest. This one, however, has such a unique idea that I couldn't wait for the next episode after watching. I have to say this is the most interesting show I have seen in a while. Very interesting psychology. Are you now two people? What do you know of the labor you are doing for the company? Do you become obsessed with learning about the other over time? Such very interesting concepts. I have really gotten into this one, and would recommend it.
I had to re watch it after reading this tread. I didn't recognize who it was either. To be honest the picture doesn't really look like her imo.
I recognized her right away, but a buddy at work that I discuss the show with didn't catch it either.
