Question: How do we enter the "SHFM Discount"? I was going to buy The Incredible String Band set, but Paypal's going to immediately charge me the undiscounted price. Since you require immediate payment to finish the transaction, I don't know how to continue.

Fred, how do we get to your site on ebay?

 

I'm obviously not Fred, but hit the "search" link on the eBay home page, and then "by seller" and then type in "jonifan".

 

I'm not Fred, but I did it by going to the eBay search, and choosing "search by seller." Type in "jonifan" and you're on your way.

Now we just need him to tell us how to activate the discount on his eBay store.

 

But there's nowhere to enter the discount, that I can see -- and you have to complete the transaction with immediate PayPal payment in order for eBay to consider it done. There's no intermediate step between winning the item and paying for it.

(Typically you see this sort of "immediate payment required" transaction process with eBay stores, as opposed to individual sellers.)

Hi Thank You all for signing in so far. I have emailed Ron directley concerning a possible solution to the "immediate pay" issue. I myself am a little stumped here as to what to do. My suggestion was to buy it at the stated price and I will refund the 10% with the purchase. Not perfect but it would work. Normally less than 5% of the items sell require "immediate payment". Somehow I knew that this was not going to be quite as easy as I had hoped when I listed. This is good though as I learn as I go and will figure that one out.
Right now our offerings are a little low as eBay's bulk lister is down and there are 300 items waiting in the wings to be listed.
