Love Gary Busey's portrayal in The Buddy Holly Story even if the movie skipped through some facts, in for sure Steve for some genuine stereo Buddy! Marshall Crenshaw was also good in La Bamba.

 

Sounds like a perfect set for the car. Count me in!

 

On of the many terrific things about Waylon Jennings autobiography was his telling about Buddy Holy and reading about the time he worked with Holly as his bass player and about the friendship they formed. I loved reading that!

Thanks for sharing! I have 3 personal favorite pre-Beatle artists- The Everly Brothers, Chuck Berry & Buddy Holly. If I had to pick one absolute fave rave from those three, Buddy Holly would be the one!
