I mean, if Madonna is in there, why not Cher, right? What do you think? I mean, if anyone conveys Rock and Roll attitude it's her:

Complicated. How many artists were selected in the R'n'R Hall though they are/were not Rock'n'Roll artists?

I personally say no way but then again I'm not happy Rappers have been inducted in the past so maybe I'm not the best person to ask. I almost demanded a refund of the $1.000 I paid for my brick when the announced Tupac was getting in ffs :realmad:

Why not! The RRHOF has already inducted other solo/bands that are "pop" artists. Cher has been doing this a long time. Some musical recognition is in order.

Much as i have no interest in Madonna, she deserves to be in there, FWIW. Her significance in the 80's and what came after artistically and otherwise (for better or worse), far outweighs that of Cher's entire "musical" career.

  25. Sure, Abba is in, and Cher has been pop star of longer standing than many many of the inductees. She may not have been directly rock and roll, but her career paralleled many of rock's era and was influenced by it.
