Talk about a long and winding thread.....

If everyone could get along, and folks not knock what others like, keep it open. It can be fun and informative. But, some folks need to curb their better then thou attitude. :righton:

Last night, Darth Vader came down from planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't take cables seriously that he'd melt my brain.

Definitely keep it open! Those that are complaining could just avoid this section of the forum if it bothers them that much. Some very knowledgable members posting in the Audio Hardware section. I tried to vote for Leave the hardware section open but do not see any place to cast my vote. I must be missing something, serious lack of sleep might be the problem :help:. Never mind I just saw that the poll voting is closed ;).

    Keep it!

This is the first section I visited on this site (had turntable issues with an automatic Sony...). I've posted questions and received knowledgeable replies/ advice.

  21. Keep it open! ...I think we need to remember it's all about enjoying music, and the equipment we enjoy it on. We can either become extremely combative about equipment choices, or simply make the best of whatever is available to each of us and appreciate it. Then if and when one chooses to upgrade, then it seems there's often someone here who has some sort of answer or suggestion (usually if the question is brand or model specific). A great forum for questions, answers, and ideas.

Keep it open. I, at least, have found valuable information on LP inner and outer sleeves and record cleaning.

How many sections can get 96.61% of votes? None, if you ask me. Or perhaps music section?

I'd like to vote "Leave it open" but, for some reason, I can't - the voting facility is not operating.

I think the Hardware Section is very illuminating particularly if, like me, you run across the occasional snag. There's always somebody who can offer sensible advice.
