Nothing much to see here. My Goldring GR 1.2, which is basically a Rega P2:

And the Music Hall mmf 2.1 I picked up used for my daughter:

Technics 1200 MK7 with some basic mods including feet from MNPCTECH and KAB tonearm damper. The record is a Japanese edition of John Foxx's The Garden, which is a big favorite of mine.

My only turntable, nothing very special, but I love it:

Thorens TD 160 BC Mk. II with SME 3009 Series II Improved Tonearm. Purchased in the summer of 1980.
Now with an Ortofon 2M Black LVB 250 Cartridge.

It has had some sensitive upgrades over the years most recently a new Piano Black plinth by Inspire HiFi in July 2015. At the same time the other upgrades in the link below were performed.

    https://www.inspirehifi.co.uk/thorens-upgrades

The work was performed by the owner of the company himself and he gave the Thorens a glowing report.

Only my second ever turntable and I can't see me ever using anything else, suits the rest of my system, my musical tastes and my listening space perfectly.

I did tell a fib, inadvertently. I do have another turntable and it's another Thorens.

A Thorens Excelda portable turntable from circa 1937, and it still works perfectly.

Of my turntables, my favourite - Yamaha PF800 (mid 1980's) - with Yamaha (AT) moving coil cartridge with removable stylus. Three-point floating, two part platter. Twin-pipe tonearm said to improve separation.

Stylus upgraded from stock spherical to .0003 x .0007 elliptical - better but not as good as it could be.

Record is from our favourite band - just missing the black text. Something went wrong at the printers.

A Pioneer PLX-1000 is soon to take place in the dedicated "record room" for transferring to other formats.

Mine’s in my avatar, Rega RP10/Apheta 2, in full base and lid mode, rather than “spider” mode (like the new P8/P10). You can swap the edge out if you prefer the latter. Playing some Kevin Gray mastered Blue Note ! My end game deck, unless someone feels moved to buy me the upcoming Rega NAIA….

Not as high end as most posted here, but I'm more than happy with the results it gives.... Great thread btw.

At this point there might be 3 total people remaining who haven’t heard of Technics turntables. They’re as legendary as it gets.

Nice! Are you enjoying that TT-cartridge combination? Using the internal pre-amp?
