I can't take credit for that. Someone else did all of the work. There are a couple of shots where you can see all of them.

I LOVE this show! I just caught one of the in-jokes. In the scene where Richard is explaining to Ehrlich that "Kool-Aid" wasn't intended as a flattering nickname, there is this picture on the wall:

She is Lena Söderberg, Playboy's Playmate of the Month, November 1971. For years, she was the default image used to test image compression algorithms.

How cool that someone at the show cares enough to dig up something like this?

    Show keeps getting better.

House keeps getting more crowded every episode. Loved them knocking out power to the neighborhood.

I just caught up with the last two eps. The monkey with the robotic arm (and Gavin's reaction when it quickly became apparent where things were going) was priceless. This is easily my favorite show on TV right now.

I just started watching this show last week and I burned through the first season and episodes 1-5 of season two in a couple of days. I love it! Erlich's Fage yogurt bit killed me. I can't get enough of that stuff, but I must use a mini spoon to get at the fruit/honey.

The extended dick joke in the season one finale is one of the greatest of all time, Right up there with the "Little Donnie" episode of Upright Citizens Brigade.

I remember that! I can't recall the Latin name they had for the condition.

Right up there with Biggus Dickus and John Oliver's interview of Edward Snowden where the threat of wholesale collection of data was explained in terms of dick pics.

Truly, we live in epic times.

I just love how unpredictable this show is. Makes total sense that porn would be a direction for the tech to go, wasn't expecting Pied Piper to take that road in this context. Tonight's episode was pretty great especially the bit with Dinesh's online girlfriend and wi-fi.

Agreed, truly a towering episode (6) of not only clever, but hilarious humor. People with inside knowledge of the tech industry and s/w development will get an extra kick from the attention to detail (like Lena picture).

Okay, so on a less sophisticated note, the thing that had me splitting my sides was the AA double a**hole joke and its fallout! :D

I did enjoy all of the porn site names in front of the audience members at the conference. "Non Consensual Santa" is probably the only one I can post here!

I have often said, "for all the computer nerd shows on TV, Silicon Valley is one of the few that gets most of the important stuff right." There's some laugh-out-loud technical jokes in there, and I'm far from being a programmer or an IT guy, but I still get them. The pace of the jokes and timing is phenomenally good.

I was in hysterics on that episode. Absolutely a killer.

This is very offensive, but perhaps the mods will allow this NSFW clip:

Yeah, those were funny. And there was some mention of an "iWac". Ha! The scene with the douche-bag (now) just under a billionaire repeatedly opening and closing the door on his car to show how much he hated the normal doors cracked me up too.

Those were the things I picked up on too. The new ep wasn't quite as good as last week's, but that is a tough act to follow. The other thing that was quite funny were the verbal gymnastics used to turn the failed demo into a success: failure = success, failure is pre-greatness!

I dunno about you, but “Welcome to the left-hand path, my friend” may be the Gilfoyle quote of the season.

Another great episode. Too bad the season is about to end!

By allowing us to access our work e-mail and calendar on our personal cell phones, the company I work for requires us to give them the ability to remotely wipe them. Apple also has functionality where the user can remotely wipe the phone or lock the screen if it is lost. You can also track where the phone is if it is still turned on.

I find it had to believe that Hooli wouldn't also have the same.

Excited to see how it all shakes out in next week's finale. I find the whole "Richard used a Hooli computer" snag kind of lame, frankly. Wouldn't the burden of proof be on Hooli to prove that he used a company computer? Couldn't Richard just have said he borrowed a friend's computer while his was in the shop? No big deal, but just kinda irksome.

That's the point-- he could have, but he refused to lie and compromise his principles.

I get that. I guess it's just the whole premise that over a 3-day period when his laptop was in the shop, he used another computer to work on Pied Piper, and even he isn't certain if he used a Hooli computer or not. Hooli doesn't know, Richard doesn't know - then why say on the stand that you definitively used Hooli's hardware for your own work? He should have just said he didn't remember.

Again, isn't the burden of proof on Hooli to prove that he did use it? I guess maybe Richard's just assuming that they have records and can go back and get the proof. Dunno.

That's what we'll probably find out Sunday-- that he or someone else will remember him using a non-Hooli computer during that period. But he did what he did last night convinced that he must have used a computer at work. You're right, the burden of proof is on Hooli, and if they had the proof they would have opened with it instead of using Ehrlich's (hilarious) testimony. But hey, it's TV-- (almost) always implausible.

The impression I got was that Richard remembered using the Hooli computer once the 3-day period where his computer was in the shop was brought to his attention. I don't think he was assuming Hooli could access the data as much as he was merely sticking to his principles. I suppose it could turn out that he did not in fact use the Hooli computer after all, though we'll have to wait and see.
