Just got Action Jackson with Carl Weathers of Rocky fame for only $6.88 at Wal-Mart. It's one of those silly-but-fun action movies. It's in Dolby Surround, not 5.1, but the surround effects are plentiful, if not as good as a good 5.1 mix. But there's one really silly use of the surrounds. Weathers is watching a TV commercial for a car produced by the movie's villain, and a surround effect emanates from the car as it travels in different directions. How silly. I don't think he's watching a TV with a home theatre. Any other silly effects in movies you have?
