Slight Rant- No More NOS Tubes

They mostly came from lots of tubes that I bought over the years. I salvaged quite a few myself from organs that were long destroyed before I got to them. As much as I am about preserving things that are worth it( I specialize in old car restoration), some things 50+ years old are simply good only for the parts to keep other old cars/equiptment going.
The Sylvania tubes in my Silvertone came from various lots off ebay and old tube technicians boxes. Many tubes in the 50's-70's were replaced for maintenance reasons only. That is why the tech held onto them. Because they knew this.
