Have been reading an enjoyable biography of Captain Beefheart (written by Mike Barnes) and have as a result become quite obsessed with both Doc At The Radar Staion and Ice Cream For Crow the last 2 albums. Saddling up for the Captain is like stepping into a parallel universe and whilst you’re in that place everything else seems utterly conventional but after a while you start screaming to get out

Barry White. The Just for You collection mixed with his Greatest Hits Album. I needed to concentrate on work and felt this would be a good soothing listen and yep. He does that. But some of the Lyrics have me giggling away (I want to make love to your shadow!). Perfect for a rainy Brooklyn day.
