The photo is most definitely from the '75 Tour.

But how often have I seen magazines put the wrong year photo in a section about another year...

No chance of it being new material, right?

I would guess that they event security allowed fans to get that close to the stage for an encore number. The first row seating would not have been right up to the stage.

  7. I hope it's a complete concert and not just the best of a variety of concerts.

I very much doubt he's remastering something that's already been previously released.

That's a pretty good Limbo he's got there...

  9. Err, unfortunately... no! I very much doubt it. Robert Plant is currently promoting his new album "Carry Fire", and is about to tour to promote it.

  11. That Facebook link is now dead. Perhaps John Davies had second thoughts and thought he was giving too much information away too early, and so deleted it.

Probably something to celebrate the 50th anniversary next year?

I love that picture. That's by Michael Brennan who's got a bunch of good Zeppelin ones.

If you look at the audience you can see there's a photographer right up front. I think that's probably the photographer who took this one, Charlie Auringer

Please let it not be a remaster of something we already have, unless it is in 5.1 surrond sound..

My realistic best hope is HTWWW remastered for vinyl release. It seems bit late for the holiday season though right?

With the help of Jimmy Page!

First paragraph on the Metropolis website...

Today, Led Zeppelin announced the release on June 3 of their first three albums in a variety of formats, all lovingly remastered here at Metropolis by Mastering Engineer John Davis (with the help of one Jimmy Page).

Yeah, HTWWW on vinyl is the most likely candidate, IMO. It would be a welcome release, too (especially if remastered)!

Here's a long shot........wasn't about a half hour of Bath 1970 footage recently discovered? Maybe they will reissue the 2003 DVD on Blu-ray with bonus material (Bath, etc) Perhaps Davis is re-doing the soundtrack?

I would assume that whatever it is will be released in 2018 to mark the band's 50th anniversary. And thinking about the calendar, and the glacial pace at which all things Zep move, I would further speculate on an August, September, or October time frame for release, since those three months are, respectively, when the band had its first rehearsal, when they played their first live shows, and when they first appeared under the name Led Zeppelin.

But this is just rank speculation; who knows?

Earls Court has been rumored for quite some time. Would not be surprised to finally see some sort of exclusive Earls Court set finally get released. The band has at least three nights of multitracked audio, plus two nights of film.

Honestly, I hope it's something other than what I already have good soundboard recordings of...but I'm not picky

It is unlikely to be anything we haven’t heard before, but if and when Earls Court is released, it will undoubtedly contain superior sound quality due to it being sourced from the multitracks.
