Songs from soundtracks that may have not even been singles but are enjoyable.

I just mentioned this on another thread... Little Girl from Dream After Dream by Journey. Great Perry vocals and killer Schon guitar solo.

For the longest time, it was hard to even find this album because it was a Japanese film and the album was only available as an import. The song has since been released as a bonus track on various Journey re-issues, but back in the day this was a bugger to find, although I think it might have been a B-side on a 45 way back.

Destiny was also a cool song from that album. Smokin’ riff and, I believe, technically Journey’s longest song.

By the way, for those that are interested, the history of this movie is fascinating. It sounds like this film was a complete bomb and would make Phantom of the Park by Kiss look Oscar-worthy in comparison.

I really enjoy Dweezil and Ahmet Zappa's cover of Hit Me Baby One More Time.

No soundtrack for the 1981 movie, Modern Problems was ever released but a promo 12" single was released for the song by The Tubes - Gonna Get It Next Time, that was the title song for the movie:

I particularly like Last of An Ancient Breed by Desmond Child--an excellent Springsteen homage:

That's a good soundtrack! I believe there is even an MFSL version.

    Love this song, too.

IMHO it's one of George's very best efforts, maybe my favorite post early '70s (though it was first demoed before All Things Must Pass).
