Thank you! Yes, I did know that, and just forgot. I always associate Cozy with the Rainbow records and forgot that Gary Driscoll played drums on that first record. He is great, the song is great. As you said, RIP to both!

I don't see a whole lot of similarity with Burn, but Looking For Today is one of the great songs on a great album. Some beautiful, unusually gentle-sounding riffs by Tony. Like the lyrics too. "It's complete, but obsolete."

Yep, that'd be my vote -- very similar.

For something from this century, look to Japan.

Enjoy the "gap" – (simply explained, "we look like this but we sound like that").

It's 80's, but Death Alley Driver, from Rainbow - Straight Between the Eyes. Amazing solo.

Yeah…I guess I’m hearing similarities in the the song structure. Long songs with unique bridges.

I don't even know that song, KISS were waaaaay past their 'Use By' date for me by then. No idea even which album it's on...maybe I have it? I think I only played the few of their post-Lick It Up albums that I bought out of misplaced loyalty once or maybe twice. But ultimately, I don't even care enough to check

Always thought that riff was a straight rip of Burn! Good album and band though!

I like that one, but IMO, it's a bit tamer than "Burn."

Dancing Madly Backwards by Captain Beyond (1972), featuring original Deep Purple vocalist Rod Evans. The whole LP is great but this is the jam.
