The one record I thinks rocks this hard before this is the Stones I Wanna Be Your Man. That record is loud with a blistering distorted solo. It needs to be heard on the 45 for maximum impact, but that's true of The Kinks singles too. They mastered those records hot in the 60s, when that wasn't a bad thing.
If not mentioned both "KISS"-PRINCE and THE BEATLES- "TOMORROW NEVER KNOW'S" seemed to come out of "nowhere"....they both still do for me.
Pink Floyd - Money and One of These Days Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath Jimi - Are You Experienced Link Wray - Rumble
Thanks Elaterium, I've never heard that before and thoroughly enjoyed - heavy is probably the best way to describe it.
Not including songs that have already been mentioned. Paul McCartney - Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey Led Zeppelin - Kashmir The Who - A Quick One, While He's Away Paul McCartney - Kreen-Akrore The Who - Magic Bus Courtney Barnett - Avant Gardener Led Zeppelin - No Quarter The Beatles - Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite
I’m surprised no one mentioned Talking Heads, especially most songs from Remain in Light. Once in a Lifetime Born Under Punches.
"In the Air Tonight" - Phil Collins "Tubthumping" - Chumbawamba "Come On Eileen" - Dexys Midnight Runners
