I'm sure this must have been talked about before but I couldn't find anything .

This here is the best song McCartney never wrote.

 

The Peruvian band We All Together covered a lot of Wings songs.

They emulated the Beatles (They had a song called "Hey Revolution"!) a little and McCartney a lot.

 

Pretty much the entire album "Fit Me In" by a German band called The Key is fantastic Macca-style pop yumminess. It came out around the time of "London Town".

The George Martin produced Stackridge album "The Man In The Bowler Hat" has some very Wings-like moments -

 

The Stackridge guys and George Martin nailed the sound.

 

As mentioned above, We All Together are worth checking out. Really good records - a bit unpolished, but I'm really fond of them.

From that album I would go to "Brainiac's Daugherter" first for my McCartney fix.
"Albert Brown" could be so many bands from that era ...

I always thought "I'm Mandy, Fly Me" was a bit McCartneyesque.

Whereas on the same album, "Art for Art's Sake" seemed a bit (to me) like Lennon.

 

This song by Tame Impala just screams Wings to me. Especially the bridge.

 

For my money,,this song couldn't possibly sound more like Paul McCartney.
