ZZ Top - Legs and Sharp Dressed Man
Chris Isaac- model with sand
Faith no more- flopping fish
Tom petty- mad hatter
Tom Petty- Jonny Depp!
Waiting on a freind by the stones....mick and the boys standing on the street corner...great video
The one that immediately came to mind.
I often think of those videos without even hearing the songs
"You Might Think" - The Cars
Nothing But a G Thang - Dr . Dre
November Rain - Guns N' Roses
Single Ladies - Beyoncé
One - Metallica (still scares the inner 12 year old in me)
Strawberry Fields Forever
She Blinded Me With Science - Thomas Dolby. Great video, goofy but fun.
When I hear this song:
And this, images of freedom and romance contrast the condition of the subject in the song
The J. Geils Band - “Centrefold”
Michael Jackson - Thriller
Johnny cash hurt.
Immediately thought of "The Safety Dance"
Ashes to Ashes.
I Want to Break Free (they wouldn't play it in America apparently).
The Safety Dance.
Being a teenager in the 80s at the dawn of the pop video all of the songs during that time stick in my head. A friend's parents had Sky so we'd watch MTV all day.
All I Want for Christmas.
Wired for Sound.
The list goes on but mainly around the time when I had time to sit and watch telly.
How about Chester pushing the broom? (half of these guys are gifted in the arts?) The impromptu band spill their guts on the stage, camera zooms in on the clueless show producer, the empty face, the empty soul... "the fella on the guitar was pretty good" ... (can you imagine?) those few fools that often (reject) determine the destiny of the gifted.
Why Girls on Film of course!
Roger Glover & Guests - ‘Love Is All’
Apart from a couple of songs, I wasn't that familiar with the work of Alison Krauss (& Union Station), until I discovered her videos on Youtube. Therefore I find it difficult to not think of the videos when I'm listening to her stuff. (No bad thing)!
Looking For Clues:
Many of Queen's videos...Save Me and Innuendo come to mind.
Video Killed The Radio Star, of course:
The Kinks - Come Dancing
New Order - True Faith
Dead Milkmen - Punk Rock Girl
Separate names with a comma.
