“Video Killed the Radio Star” - The Buggles
For me, it's probably mid-80s ones that were from movie soundtracks, esp. those by lesser-known artists. So, cheesy things like, "St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)" by John Parr.
The videos are mainly movie clips with occasional shots of big hair singing.
Although it does not get much airplay
"Get Nervous" Pat Benatar
Roger Sanchez - Another Chance, and the lady with the big heart in New York
Sorta along these lines, Quentin Tarantino messed up some songs. Aaron Neville - You Never Can Tell, I always think of Pulp Fiction
That's funny I just posted about that, movies can have an effect also. War: Lowrider, I think of Gone in 60 Seconds.
This is one of the best music videos of all time, IMO.
[Walk Like an Egyptian]
Good God, yes. The exact moment in the preview, too. How did this not immediately come to mind?
Dead Mans Party....Back to School
Girls On Film - Duran Duran
N.b. I never think of Duran Duran
Diana Ross - "Chain Reaction"
Girl You'll Be a Woman Soon
I always think of this dorky dancing chick in this one.
Is it too early for another Want To Break Free vid
