:sigh: Music is truly subjective because that was garbage to me; better than 99 percent of today, but I find her voice obnoxious and the song aimless.

...besides which, does "Wuthering Heights" actually have what ccould be called an "outro"? An outro is not simply the same thing as an ending; it implies something special and different that closes the song. Wuthering Heights just kind of fades out.

Two immediately stand out to me.

New Order, The Perfect Kiss, 12". Starting at 4m in, the song turns into a 5 minute instrumental which has a everything, including a chorus of frogs and sheep.

I also really love the ending/second part 2 to The Wedding Present's "You're Dead", which is a completely different song.

Wuthering Heights is 'aimless garbage' ? , and Kate's voice is 'obnoxious' ?
Naaaahh .. you just have very poor taste in music. There are other music forums on the Internet, troll those instead. Oh, and say hello to my extensive ignore list!

Check out the brilliant remix, it features more mature vocals and a proper outro with more prominent guitar playing and some sensational ad-libs from Kate (really high and powerful notes)!

Man Out of Time by Elvis Costello!

Ok, so not the best, but I appreciate ending the song the way when everything else on that album is so polished and well crafted.

About a one minute outro. Love the wah-wah during the fadeout.

Every song I dislike because the signal that it's over is welcome.
