I have the first 4 albums on 45 rpm, but I had bought So so many times I skipped it. Do you get the same sound from the hi-res files as from the L.P.?

The recent issues came with FLAC and WAV downloads, I thought you might have that edition.

Taking the singing up a key, cascading guitars and a cathartic release from the bottled up tension of the first parts of the song

I don't recall whether hi-res downloads came with the 45RPM vinyl. If so, I didn't download them. Now I'll have to check.

What makes the fade out of Loudmouth so great is that it's the only fade out on the entire first Ramones record. I love it, it's perfect!

What do you want from guitar playing exactly? people to not play their guitar?

"So err guys, we're just playing 3 notes and two chords today lest we get accused of being masturbatory. Oh, and definitely no slides or bends."

The Frost: Black as Night. Dick Wagner's band pre Lou Reed/Alice Cooper. He was very good at creating these multi-layered tracks, "Only Women Bleed" being the most famous example. But he did this quite often:

But sometimes more is more too. If all songs were "less" as you say, that would be equally boring wouldn't it? Surely it's good to have a variety of styles out there in the world - and notes are there to be played.

Good one, I love when the music fades at the very end and Carl keeps singing by himself. Such a gorgeous song

And "Day in the Life of a Tree" as well, when their voices all swell up and start harmonizing at the end is one of the best parts of the "Surfs Up" album :D:D

I like the beginning and the middle part too!
Almost a minute and a half outro
Sounds simple but there's just a cool timing to everything
