Great choice with I am the Resurrection. The Roses & John Leckie really coming together on that one!

Bad Guy by Billie Eilish. The tempo cuts in half, the beats go from a muffled house 4/4 to a skittering trap beat. And I love that the outro is what she initially came up with - her brother Finneas heard Billie putting the beat together in her room, sampled it, smoothed it out, and that got them working on the rest of the song

Can’t believe that after five pages into this thread I have to come in here and set the record straight, like I’m the problem fixer Mr. White cleaner-upper guy. But I accept my burden; it is for the greater good.

    Hey Jude.

The song that started the whole outro thing. The Rosetta Stone, the double helix of pop outros. Often emulated, never equaled. The Mic Drop of outros.

    You're welcome.

That has an outro? I can't shut it off fast enough, so I've never known that.

Half the song, the last 2 minutes, Israel Nash - Through The Door, or is that too long for a outro.

    Great cover version.

Love James Burton's soloing on the outro (2.25 to the end) but you have to turn it up loud to hear the ending.

Mark Knopfler has so many good ones. In addition to this one, I'd add

    "Private Investigations"
    "Why Worry"
    "On Every Street"

Private Investigations is such a remarkable song in just about every way. I'm not sure there has ever been anything like it
