Hazel Dickens and Alice Gerrard - Banjo Picking Girl A traditional from their 1976 Rounder album "Hazel Dickens and Alice Gerrard". The song was recorded by numerous bluegrass artists, among them the Coon Creek Girls, Gloria Belle, Stringbean, Cathy Fink, The Stairwell Sisters, and Abigail Washburn & The Sparrow Quartet, but nobody can surpass Hazel Dickens' and Alice Gerrard's version. "I'm goin' around this world baby mine Goin' around this world baby mine Goin' around this world, I'm a banjo pickin' girl I'm goin' around this world baby mine"
Greg Brown - Banjo Moon Bonus track from the CD release of "One Night". "One Night" (documenting a 1982 concert of Greg Brown in Minneapolis/Minnesota) had originally been released on Coffeehouse Extemporé Records in 1982. A CD re-release issued on Red House Records in 1999 contained "Banjo Moon" as one of the bonus tracks not included on the original LP release. "Oh, and I I don't know Everywhere I go Sorrow is as thin as an electric mandolin And the moon is as round as a banjo"
