The one I just recently played for my wife on Spotify because she didn’t know it is “Love Will Keep Us Together” by The Captain and Tennille.

Also, large parts of the first three Robbie Williams albums. Though I will defend “Let Love Be Your Energy” and “Man Machine” as actual good songs. I would also say that about “Call Me Maybe” so take that as you will.

I generally loathe what is often described as Corporate Rock, but I have to admit that the first Boston album holds a special place in my heart.

Yeah, this. If I like a song it's obviously one I should like. If I don't, it's obvious I should not.

Shmaltzy and manipulative attempts at the heart strings, yet classic Canadian from my youth, so, yeah, can't look away...

The other one that was a contender for my original list:

There's just so much wrong here...so much. I wish my teenage punk-rock-loving self would have looked away. But I didn't, and now I can't help myself from bouncing along with it. If you stare into the abyss... :D

Beaten to the punch. I was going to cite the early Debbie Gibson singles circa 1987-89. Maybe I just associate them with a really good time in my life. But when they come on in the supermarket these days, I'm singing along!

Had never heard this one before - so many great elements going over the top together and wonderfully catchy!

"Here I Go Again", Whitesnake. It hits all of the cliches that make so much late-eighties mainstream rock so annoying -- overprocessed guitars, suffocating drums, cheesy synths, dumb macho lyrics, David Coverdale. And I love it.
"Billy Don't Be A Hero", Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods. One of the chintziest pop songs ever, but an indelible childhood memory that still makes me tap my toe to that martial rhythm. And that cheeky keyboard riff is awesome.
"I Wouldn't Have Missed It For The World", Ronnie Milsap. This is formulaic Alabama-style shopping-mall eighties country pop, but the melody is quite memorable, and Ronnie's delivery wins me over.
"Push Push In The Bush", Musique. Boy did we make fun of this one in high school -- but it sticks to me like glue.

I have many others, but those are four that come to mind...

    Into the Groove - Madonna

A mindlessly sexy dance song that I can't help digging. And that husky tone she uses when she sings 'Now I know you're mine...'

I'm sure tons of stuff I like is stuff that many people would give as an answer to this, but I don't think that I shouldn't like anything I like, so I wouldn't know what would count as an example. The best I could do is present examples of stuff I love that lots of people rag on, like Starship's "We Built This City" or any of the Aerosmith ballads or something like that.

Not trying to sound arrogant, but I've always hated the "songs you shouldn't like" or "guilty pleasures" concept:

I'm a "metalhead" (at least, that's what everyone thinks about me), so when people hears the kind of music that I also like, specially around metalheads, people mention the guilty pleasure stuff.
And you know, it's not a guilty pleasure. It's just a pleasure.

    As an example:

Quote below from my original post, for those who are picking up downthread.
Who said you should feel guilty? My intent is more of a laughing a thumb in the eye of those who would want you to feel guilty. I say, embrace what you like with a smile, not a lecture!

I like the original version of this, called "Brandy" by Scott English. I heard it on the radio in 1971 and tried to find it without success in the local record stores. To this day I've never seen an actual copy!
