Sonny Boy Williamson Japan Box Set

Does anyone have any knowledge of this set? I don't recall Sonny Boy being on "Drop Down Mama."

He's not on the domestic (U.S.) version of Drop Down Mama, but maybe the Japanese mini-LP sleeve version has extra tracks

 

I have almost no knowledge about Sonny Boy Williamson to begin with. But I'd like to help you.
From a quick search, I confirmed the extra tracks are three, whose leaders and the tune titles are identified. They are; My Sweet Lovin Mama (Robert Nighthawk), Overseas (Floyd Jones) and Date Bait (Blue Smitty). Hope this will help.

No. The picture on the site shows the OBIs, three of which has the name of Sonny Boy Williamson on them. 'Drop Down Mama' does not.

Yes, it WAS. A chain store produced it. If you purchased the FOUR mini LPs, you got the box. That's why the one without Sonny Boy Williamson is included.
