I'm still holding out hope that the Complete Elvis set comes back at better than the last $499 price.

 

Is all of the Legacy Edition music from Bitches Brew, Kind of Blue, and Sketches of Spain included in the tumpet case set?

 

All of the Sketches of Spain is, but the Bitches Brew and KOB sets both have material that is exclusive to them.

I was wrong -- looks like the only thing that isn't in the trumpet case there is the Bitches Brew DVD.
The Round About Midnight Legacy Edition, however, has 8 previously unreleased live tracks.

I think that there are a couple of false starts on the KoB set that aren't in the Miles & Coltrane set.

I ended up buying the Byrds box, even though I own virtually all the CDs already. The pricing is decent, but I bet they still end up with lots of unsold stock at that level.

 

That's my hope, I'll take it for around $40.

Tempting ... though I'm not a big fan of Valleys Of Neptune or First Rays. These go for $20 new so maybe I can sell 'em and basically get the other three for around $10 each.

Though I wish Blues was included in this deal ...

I ordered today's Hendrix deal. Too cheap to pass up. I've picked up each of these new Legacy LPs recently and thought about giving one or two a try. Now, for $54, I get to hear all of them.

I like the sound of them , there is a topic on the board here , some thought there was a bit too much high-end on them & yes , they are a hair bright , but they are worth this price for sure , i love them , nice qulity pressings , good sound , there might be a hair of NR , but nothing that bothers me at all , they sound really nice ... got mine for maybe $18 each & have been super happy with them

Check this thread & read it backwards start at the last page , it has Opinions from those who have had them for a while , some do not like Electric ladyland ....
