Speaker bass port is loose

    The rear ports on my Spendor SP3/1R2 speakers are not rigidly affixed, and keep coming loose.

    What is the safest adhesive for adhering the plastic port to the wooden cabinet?

    Western Washington, the State, USA
    The veneer is precious & I would start with a carefully applied sealer or varnish to the inside of the back-wall of the cabinet. Afterwards a non-permanent sealer like Mortite to bind & seal.

    FOLLOW UP:

    I figured out a simple solution. The Spendors' cabinets are milled so that the plastic ports screw in place. A gentle twist and it's all set. :righton:
