    What kind of jazz?

    Mastered by whom?

    Recorded when?

Quick answer: There is no "magic bullet."

This forum gives me anxiety lol

The original question was mainly about bass

I got a pretty good answer on that

We already discussed whether there is or isn't such a thing as speakers that work better for specific genres, but feel free to have that conversation again, right here :edthumbs:

Consider the Pioneer Elite SP-EBS73. They are bookshelf speakers, around $500, and have a very accurate sound. For small to middle size rooms they are great for acoustic jazz. They have a floor standing version as well that should provide slightly more bass. Pioneer sells a similar speaker for under $200 under their “regular” Pioneer brand name. All of these speakers were designed by Andrew Jones, who is currently making some well-reviewed budget speakers at Elac. I’ve also heard the B&W 685s,

Zu show their products at the East Coast Shows. I know they will be in DC (Capital Audiofest) and New York (New York Audio Show) for the fall shows. Going to one of the shows is a great chance to hear stuff that you are interested in. Capital Audiofest is November 1-3. The New York Audio Show is November 8-10.

While there is clearly no correct "formula" for excellent audio pairing the Class D Peachtree amp with high efficiency Zu's seems like a surprising choice.
