For years, George Harrison's Gone Troppo was the most elusive of his albums to get on CD. Predictably, with the release of the remastered version, the bottom has fallen out of prices for this once rare CD.

A review of the ebay listings shows an interesting disparity in prices for the disc, from a buy it now of $40 (good luck!) to one of about $7. Also popping up this week is a sealed long box version. There's one seller with bad timing! He probably could have gotten $150 for it a year ago... Just thought it was interesting to see the auctions for it...

Todd, how do you distinguish between the original and the remaster?

As far as I know, the remaster has bonus tracks. Most of the pictured CDs for sale appear to be the OOP original version.

Thanks Todd. I did notice that some of state they are the remaster even though they have the same track listing. Hence the confusion.
