The John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band album has a lot of creepy moments in it, with the primal scream thing John was doing at the time.
Same with Neil Young and the Tonight's The Night album. Good for a late night listen and pretty creepy - definitely a long way from Harvest, which is what Neil was going for.

I don't quite get that vibe from these Bruce songs. But now that you mention him, I'll nominate "Something In The Night," "Racing In The Streets," "Point Blank," "Drive All Night," and most of the Nebraska album.

I find those Springsteen songs from Born to Run chilling, in a good way, ie, very cinematic, like a film, and very moving. So much so they give me the "chills" to some degree via the imagery, power of the music, characters and the way it is performed.

Most of Springsteen's Nebraska album. It has such an intimate and yet unsettling vibe to it that I just love.

The Doors have been mentioned a few times and they royally creeped me out as a teenager, especially their aptly titled album “Strange Days.”
Listen to that late at night with the lights low and see if you can get through “Horse Latitudes” without finding a fudge smudge on your Jockey’s.

Another song that freaked me out is Richard Thompson’s “End of the Rainbow.”

Get a load of these lyrics:

“I feel for you, you little horror
    Safe at your mother's breast
No lucky break for you around the corner
'Cause your father is a bully
And he thinks that you're a pest
And your sister she's no better than a whore.
Life seems so rosy in the cradle,
But I'll be a friend I'll tell you what's in store

There's nothing at the end of the rainbow.
There's nothing to grow up for anymore.”

He must be fun at parties.

When I was young about 5-6 yrs old there used to be this commercial for a Janis Joplin/Jimi Hendrix Acid Rock album that played on TV in the NY Area. They had these blown out pictures of both of them in psychedelic colors with their eyes all whited-out flashing on the screen. It was the 1st time I had ever heard the sounds of Jimi's guitar. It scared the crap out of me. I thought Jimi and Janis were these drugged out monsters plugged into a different frequency. I had no conception of that kind of music yet. About the only rock music I new about was Elvis and the Beatles because my folks had one or two of their greatest hits albums. Anyway, it warped my little mind. It wasn't until a few years later when I wondered to myself what would happen if I turned this switch on my radio to FM instead of AM that I got exposed to more rock music and figured out there was nothing to be scared of.

Um.... that's not true in the least. I'm watching it on SNL's official YouTube channel and it's exactly as aired.

Emmylou Harris-penned tune, in a duet with Dave Matthews, "My Antonia":

Potentially one of the more relaxed tracks of the album, but there's that eerie accindental(?) solo/sound/malfuntion starting at 04:02..

Not so much creepy, but eerie in its lyrics and atmospheric arrangement. "I Cheat the Hangman" by the Doobie Brothers was written by Patrick Simmons, who said he was inspired by a 19th century ghost story by Ambrose Bierce (Incident at Owl Creek). Spooky!

The entire Coil discography ranges from midly unsettling to downright scary, especially in the cases of Horse Rotorvator and Musick to Play in the Dark 1 & 2. Most of Industrial and Post Industrial music, when it doesn't fall into corny territory (as it often does) really is possibly the spookiest music imaginable. Neoclassical Darkwave and Neofolk would probably follow.

Current 93 and Swans (especially Soundtracks for the Blind) have some seriously dark and twisted material throughout. While I no longer feel particularly disturbed by it, the first time I listened to Can's Tago Mago I was also rather spooked.

Wow, that's really... something. I admire her persistency :D Is she talking backwards or french? Hard to tell (for me)

Reminds me of Nina Hagen (slightly less crazy german singer).

 I never thought to look on the official SNL YouTube channel; I always just entered Eddie Murphy Joe Piscopo Ebony & Ivory and got the butchered version. Thanks for the correction, I've always loved this bit!

"Magic Man" by Heart. When it comes on the radio, I change the channel immediately. Haven't listened to it in decades.

"Jackie Blue" by Ozark Mountain Daredevils.

"Angie Baby" by Helen Reddy is creepy. What happened to the neighbor boy with evil on his mind?.....

The distorted "I am iron man!" voiceover at the beginning is definitely creepy.
