I really enjoyed the set-list approach on the ANH tour with the whole album played back to back in the middle of the set and older tracks at the beginning and encore. I'd be happy with a similar approach on the forthcoming tour. I wish more bands would do this, but the lack of new material played probably reflects many band's not having the confidence in their new material!
I like hearing the entire album, so I hope he continues that approach. I suspect he'll add a second leg with east coast dates at some point. Here's the setlist from the 2019 Boston show.
I wonder about Chicago and other Midwest U.S. dates. Spiritualized played Pitchfork Music Festival in 2008 and I wonder if they would play it again 14 years later…. Who even knows when pitchfork will be this year….?
More U.S. Midewest/South/East Coast dates announced for September 2022: Live Oddly, no Chicago date announced yet (it looks like they'll be driving through the city three times in order to make to other concerts in other cities) I wonder if this means they will be playing one of the festivals (Pitchfork, Riot Fest) instead.....
Spiritualized is playing Pitchfork Music Festival on July 15 - I wonder if there will be some more dates around that festival date. I would not be surprised if they play another Chicago date in September when they swing through Milwaukee/Minneapolis/Detroit.......(probably announced after the fest or if it sells out)
the tour started Spiritualized Setlist at Granada Theater, Dallas Spoiler: set list it seems the songs from the album are being played but not as a sequence from the album
i assume we'll find out after a couple more shows when maybe more hardcore fans report, or maybe instrumental intros?
