And my posting that was supposed to be funny.

I guess that didn't translate too well...

Just managed to get a ticket in Section A for the Saturday for "only" £188. A bargain compared to the other £800 seats on sale.

I'm guessing the band are fit and well, if they are announcing this.

    Glasgow also needs rebooking.

Ireland still "owed" shows from September that were supposedly postponed.

Glasgow was mentioned in the announcement.

"More information on the postponed Glasgow show will be released here in due course."

This forced postponement of the London dates might have opened the door for a batch of European dates next year. I can't see the guys reconvening again just for 5 dates.

    Belfast, Dublin x2, London x3 and Glasgow = 7

Looking at NA run and UK there might only be room for 5-6 Euro cities getting 2 shows each.

My mate paid £133 & his missus decided not to go so he offered me it at 1/2 price!

Besides rescheduling the London shows, they also added one more US show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, December 11, 2021.

So that's a good sign for the US tour. They must be pretty confident that it will go ahead as planned if they're going to add another show right now...

So you're laughing at people who had to pay more than you, because they weren't able to get a cushy discounted sweetheart deal due to someone's generosity. Gotcha. o_O

The 3Arena has some dates free at the end of March 2022 (28 - 31). Keeping my fingers crossed.

No argument that £188 is a helluva lot of money for a gig ticket, however, I think it's safe to say these are going to be final Genesis shows ever and having binged on Collins-era Genesis material recently (I'd forgotten what an amazing live album Three Sides Live is) I decided it was worth the money, even with Phil in a diminished state.

Health aside, you don't think they are planning a summer UK outdoor event for 2022?

I do not. Their new stage setup was specifically designed for indoor arenas only. I don't think it's adaptable to outdoors.

Roger Waters managed it for the "Us and Them" tour. I could see Genesis doing Hyde Park.

I'm thinking stadiums because you can get most of the show in darkness and a later curfew.

Good luck covering Italian demand only playing tiny arenas.

They could always play a few show at The Friars, Aylesbury.
