Episode 6 was superb. All the build up of the last two episodes really payed off in this one. Good to see some well choreagraphed action in this show compared to some of the more lacklustre efforts in both Boba Fett and Kenobi. Looking forward to seeing where the show goes from here.
My favourite parts of this series have been the expanding of what life in the Empire is like as an officer - I think they should do a whole series without any rebellion and just set it within the Empire, like some sort of political farce show.
Not to nitpick, but in episode 6 our heroes escaped the Empire by...going into an asteroid field...again...
Maybe if the TIE Fighter pilots weren’t wearing those enormous helmets they could actually see? Either that or he didn’t twist the twisty thing on the controls fast enough
I'm enjoying this so far. Episode 6 was pretty darned good. I felt like it and many of the Aldhani scenes had echoes of Force 10 From Navarone in them (which I actually haven't seen that one in a while, so I might be misremembering). This is another SW series that I came into with low expectations and I've been pleasantly surprised so far. As others have said, some of the inner workings of The Empire are interesting to see.
I’m enjoying this show much more than Boba Fett, it has a slightly different feel to it and the cast is really strong. Qyburn in the Empire, you love to see it Diego Luna is great, too
Another great episode (7). Love all the Imperial scenes and the meeting between Mon Mothma and Luthen Rael was great.
So Andor is a capable but small time crook as shown by the way he stashed his cash and was dragged into the system. It will interesting to see how they handle is "growth". I really like this series, probably the best of the recent ones. Good acting and realistic characterizations of the principals. Seemingly a more "mature" and complicated Star Wars world.
something felt "off" about last night's episode's ending to the point that i wonder if his arrest and sentencing is again part of a larger plot. even if not, they did a great job of making me feel anxious as i watched that unfold.
I appreciate the time taken to develop the characters. The first two episodes did drag a little though, that may pay off later.
Dull, unlikable leads, boring story. Believe me, I'm down for SW sans lightsabers and the Force. Love some Gilroy bros movies, but I'm real leery of this.
I’m guessing Andor is not for you. Cassian is set up here (at least initially) as less likable than he is in Rogue One, and several other characters even less so… and the story is much more of a slow burner than the film. (I personally think it’s worth it.)
