I doubt it. The films will still exist, they can never be unmade.

I seriously doubt it, as the third word in the article is "rumor." It does drive eyeballs, though.

If they can erase those from not happening, let’s first start with erasing 2020.

Erase Episode 9 first. One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. I’d rather watch Phantom Menace every day for a year than see Rise again.

For all of us with DVD versions they can’t be erased. Another reason for owning the movies you care about.

    What a load of garbage.

First of all, the sequels are what they are. We got some of the old cast back, a new (old) storyline and a bunch of fresh characters. The ship has left port and sailed with the nostalgia-soaked "Force Awakens", misguided "Last Jedi" and (gasp) redeeming "Rise of Skywalker" (yes, I am one who actually loved that movie). The old human characters are out of the way and in 5-10 years, Disney can try and come up with compelling stories to bring back the likes of Rey, Finn, Poe, etc., something which I will embrace whenever they decide to do it.

What will never happen is a Star Trek-like retcon of the sequels into another dimension or whatever the rumor wants to call it. Kennedy doesn't need to fight it because 1) it won't happen and 2) she'll probably be out of the way soon enough. Disney Star Wars is not a dumpster fire failure but it lacks cohesion which tells me that new vision is needed.

This is the worst kind of internet rumor.
Erase 2 movies that netted them $2.4 billion dollars in the last 5 years??????????????????????????????

Trust me, I'll never visit that YouTube channel because I don't want Plandemic videos getting added to my suggested sites.

Edit: The rumor comes from "DOOMCOCK"???? What a world.

This sounds like whiny fanboy idiocy.

Why would Disney "erase" the films? They were huge hits!

An article was written based on a nutty youtube video. I guess people have just chosen to live in a fantasy world these days where they can just make up the way they want things to happen.

When I say "Star Wars Trilogy", what movies do you think of?

    Yeah, that's what I thought.

    Everything else is window dressing.

  18. Yeah this sounds like poppycock to me. Hey I’d be fine if they erased Phantom menace and those films. Seriously, though, it’s a rumor and how or bad another rumor turned out doesn’t necessarily give THIS rumor more credibility. I find the way they plan on trying to justify how the Emperor survived to be stupid silliness.

I'd start erasing 3 seconds before the first Ewok.

You mean the ones they just released in 4K in the Skywalker Saga set and advertise on Facebook daily?

    Yeah, no.

The sequels made a lot of money. Mission accomplished. If a stand alone Ewok movie would sell they’ll do that too.

Also worth pointing out, this Doomc--- guy is notoriously full of crap.

All his "leaks" of information about Episode 9 were 100% false. The Millennium Falcon being destroyed, audiences storming angrily out of test screenings (it HAD no test screenings)... he's a troll.
